Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre

Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre opened its doors to the public in October 2008. 

Conveniently located within the Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Village, the centre offers a wide range of facilities and activities suitable for all ages and abilities.  

Health & Fitness

• A 64 station Fitness Suite with Sky Ultimate Package for customer viewing  
• Separate Fitness Studio for smaller group sessions and personal training 
• Separate Free-weights room 
• 8 Badminton Court Main Hall 
• 3 Glass-backed Squash Courts 
• Dance Studio 

COVID GUIDELINES

As well as an enhanced cleaning schedule we do ask that our customer also clean down any equipment used with the wipes provided.

Mask do not need to be worn whilst exercising, but mask do need to be worn when entering and exiting the building.

Pools

Merthyr Leisure Centre Pools are currently undergoing a full refurbishment and will be closed until further notice. Please see Merthyr Tydfil County Borough website for updates on the pools.

Other Activities

We at Wellbeing Merthyr are proud to be supporting the Covid Vaccine role out for Merthyr Tydfil. This however does mean that our Main Hall and Dance Studio is currently unavailable for public use.
