Cyfarthfa Castle Museum & Art Gallery’s collection stands at over 16000 objects. These objects were collected from all over the world, and span thousands of years of history. This cultural heritage gives us a huge opportunity to engage with a large range of subjects, topics and themes. From History and Art to the natural world and technology, we can provide an exciting and engaging stimulus to help your pupils’ learning.

Digital Learning

A live workshop via MS Teams. Sessions can include; topic introductions, artefact presentations, and opportunities for pupils to speak with one of our experts.  This workshop can be tailored to a wide variety of themes and subjects to fit your topic.

Artefact Loan Box

Borrow one of our artefact loan boxes to use during your lessons. Choose a range of themes, including; The Victorians, WWI, WWII, Welsh Coal Mining, ‘Art Gallery in a Box’, Toys and Games and The Romans, or speak to a member of staff about putting together a custom loan box for your topic.
