We are a charitable trust that was formed in 2015 to manage and develop the leisure and cultural facilities within Merthyr Tydfil on behalf of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council.

Are you looking for a job in the Creative Industries? If you are Wellbeing Merthyr may have just what you’re looking for. In partnership with Merthyr Tydfil CBC, Wellbeing Merthyr have secured funding through UK Governments ‘Community Renewal Fund’ to deliver a Creative Industry Training Programme.
This project will enable local and regional partners to work together to establish a Creative Industry Training Programme for Merthyr Tydfil residents. Arts Venues will work with delivery partners, Universities, Merthyr College, Schools and Creatives to pilot a new way of working across boundaries.
The aim of the project is to inspire and enthuse people in our community to develop new initiatives by supporting them with training and learning opportunities as well as space to facilitate this process. This Strategic working will build capacity within our community by improving partnership working and providing local organisations and individuals with the skills they need to support each other on our way out of the pandemic.
