For full access to all our facilities opt for our brand new all-inclusive Lifestyle Active Membership. Active gives you the option to also join up with another person (including another family member aged 14-17) and save even more money every month. Student Memberships

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Elite Athletes

At Merthyr Tydfil Leisure we recognise that dedication in Sport takes time and effort, so the Elite Athlete Scheme has been designed to support International Sportsmen and Women in Merthyr Tydfil. 

The scheme is available to junior and senior athletes who have been selected to play for Wales or Great Britain in their given sport.  In the first instance, you will be given up to a maximum of 3 months free use of the facilities prior to the competition. Once you have played, free use will be extended for a further 9 months. 

Please note: you will need to provide evidence that you have played.

The scheme is available to residents of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough and does not apply to individuals who have been selected for national training or development squads.  

To become an Elite athlete member simply complete the following Elite Athlete Registration Form, bring it to Reception and we’ll do the rest!
