_____________________________
Carcass are an English extreme metal band from Liverpool, formed in 1985. The band have gone through several line-up changes, leaving guitarist Bill Steer and bassist-vocalist Jeff Walker as the only constant members.
They broke up in 1996, but reformed in 2007 without one of its original members, drummer Ken Owen, due to health reasons. To date, the band have released seven studio albums, two compilation albums, four EPs, two demo albums, one video album, and six music videos.
Upon their untimely demise in 1996, fans mourned the loss of the seminal act and longed that the group would one day be exhumed from their premature grave. After an 18 year hiatus, Carcass have been fully reanimated and it’s safe to say, they haven’t missed a pathological step.
Carcass are regarded as pioneers of the grindcore and melodic death metal genre. In addition, it is also described as one of the earliest and most important of the new generation of grindcore and death metal bands. Their early work was also tagged as “splatter death metal”,and “hardgore” on account of their morbid lyrics and gruesome album covers.
Their fourth album, Heartwork (1993), is considered a landmark in the melodic death metal genre. Carcass were also one of the few death metal acts to sign to a major label, with Columbia Records handling North American distribution for Heartwork, while the album was distributed worldwide by Earache who released all of the band’s albums up to and including Swansong (1996).

Romi, Sarah, Emily, and Meg were fed up of music being a ‘members-only club’ at its best and a phallocracy at its worst, so in 2018, they decided to do something about it.
Cue, Panic Shack.
Armed with brash, witty lyrics and killer hooks, they crashed through the UK music scene with a tidal wave of ear-crunching noise.
Immediately building up a reputation for their raw, unapologetic live shows and off-kilter songs, Panic Shack prove that DIY does it better.
Since their inception it’s been non-stop for this Welsh punk quintet. With support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, Huw Stephens, Jack Saunders, Radio X, Bob Vylan, and PRS, it’s clear that this band have started something special.
Having already played prestigious stages at Green Man Festival, Liverpool Sound City, Cardiff Castle, and 2000 Trees Festival, and joined bands like The Wytches, Grandma’s House, and Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard on stages across the UK, Panic Shack are only going to continue to create unhinged, earth-shattering music (until, of course, they’re rich enough to be sipping champagne after taking a dip in the pool at their mansions).
OASISH
Some might say that we’re excited to announce the excellent Oasish. Originally formed in late 1994, Oasish were the first Oasis tribute act to form in Wales and one of only two on the UK circuit at the time. Forming at the start of Oasis’ stardum, the band were huge fans of the Manchester Britpop legends and loved each of their songs, perfecting them note by note.
The band have toured extensively across the UK, and in 1997 they were given the opportunity to support INXS in Cardiff Bay.
Tickets for the gig are limited and will fly out, so grab yours quick!
