5 week Beginners Yoga course starting on 9th October at Redhouse Cymru, Merthyr Tydfil.
This class is suitable for anyone completely new to Yoga as well as those with previous experience. We will be practising according to the classical Gitananda Yoga tradition covering:
Jattis (loosening movements), Asanas (postures), Kriyas (synchronised movement and breath), Pranayama (breath control) and end in a guided relaxation.
You will come away from this class having released stress and tensions from the body and feeling relaxed. Through regular attendance and practice in this way you will begin to notice increased wellbeing, more flexibility, strength in your body and mind, and a deepened spiritual connection.
Instructions
You will need your own mat, a bottle of water and a blanket for adjustments and relaxation.
