Waterstones Children’s Laureate (2022-2024) Joseph Coelho will visit Merthyr Central Library on Friday 8th September as part of his nationwide “Library Marathon”
Joseph will be visiting over 200 Libraries to show the world how incredible library spaces are and hopefully encourage everyone to join their local library and encourage a love of reading in young people.
Joseph’s visit will include registering for a library card, borrowing a book, as well as reading to and performing for the children in the library.

Bydd Joseph Coelho, Bardd Llawryfog y Plant Waterstones 2022-2024 yn ymweld â Llyfrgell Ganolog Merthyr ar Ddydd Gwener 8 Medi fel rhan o’i “Marathon Llyfrgelloedd” cenedlaethol.
Bydd Joseph yn ymweld â dros 200 o lyfrgelloedd i ddangos i’r byd pa mor anhygoel yw gofodau llyfrgell, ac yn gobeithio annog pawb i ymuno â’u llyfrgell leol a sbarduno cariad at ddarllen ymhlith pobl ifanc.
Bydd ymweliad Joseph yn cynnwys cofrestru ar gyfer cerdyn llyfrgell, benthyca llyfr, a darllen a pherfformio ar gyfer y plant yn y llyfrgell ei hun.
