Cyfarthfa Castle is widely regarded as the best-preserved and grandest ironmanster’s house in Wales. The building, which is Grade 1 listed, is of national historical and architectural significance.
Ynysfach Engine House is a Grade 2 listed building and is regarded as one of the most important remaining engine houses in Wales.
Joseph Parry’s Cottage - the birthplace of one of Wales’ best known musicians and composers. The cottage has been well preserved and is set out in the style of an 1840’s household, showing the living conditions of the ironworkers at the time Joseph Parry was born.
